Fabrice Lejeune received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC) in 2001. He continued his post-doc research at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2001 to 2005. He is currently a Researcher at the University of Lille, INSERM, Lille, France and the Leader of the Team “Molecular therapeutic approaches of genetic diseases and cancer” at Oncolille. He studies the mechanisms that regulate or deregulate the quality control of protein synthesis with the aim to one day utilize these mechanisms to chemically treat diseases such as cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, and cancer.
Anne-Sophie Lia graduated in Natural and Life Sciences from the University of Le Havre Normandie and received her Ph.D. in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Paris. Then she went to Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX, USA) as a Postdoctoral Researcher. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer and Hospital Practitioner at the University of Limoges, France. Her research focuses on the genetics and molecular biology of peripheral neuropathy (PN), bioinformatics, cell culture of iPS, motor neurons, and Schwann cells.
