Dr. Lucia Tanga is a researcher in the Glaucoma Unit at the
IRCCS Fondazione Bietti in Rome, where she works in the glaucoma clinic. Her
work involves clinical research activities, including diagnostic and
pharmacological research. She has participated in over 200 national and
international clinical trials. Dr. Tanga holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery
from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a specialization in Ophthalmology
from the same university, where she graduated cum laude with top marks. She
also completed a Glaucoma Research Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in
London and obtained a second-level Master’s degree in “Glaucoma: Diagnosis and
treatment” from the University of Pisa. Additionally, she is an accredited
European pharmacovigilance manager and an expert in GCP. Dr. Tanga has authored
several articles on glaucoma pathophysiology and therapy and is a member of the
Italian Association for the Study of Glaucoma (AISG) and the Italian Society of
Ophthalmology (SOI).

From 2012 he has been the reviser for the Ministry of the University of the scientific papers in the ophthalmology field.
