Edward Lobarinas is a Professor at The University of Texas at Dallas, School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. He is also a Program Head, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences PhD. His Research Interests include Understanding the effects of hearing loss on auditory perception and tinnitus using animal models and human studies.
Nasser Kehtarnavaz is an Erik Jonsson Distinguished Professor with the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering and the Director of the Embedded Machine Learning Laboratory at
University of Texas at Dallas. His research areas include signal and image processing, machine learning,
deep learning, and real-time implementation on embedded processors. He has authored or co-authored
11 books and over 400 publications in these areas. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of SPIE, a Fellow of AAIA,
a licensed Professional Engineer, and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Real-Time Image Processing.
