Prof. Dr. Xin-qing Lee is a Professor at the State Key
Laboratory of Environmental Geochemistry, Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guiyang, China. He does researches in Paleoclimatology, carbon sequestration
technology and Atmospheric Geochemistry. Their current projects are “Biogeochemical
cycles of organic acids in the troposphere” and “Use of Biochar to manage soil
salinization”.
Hongguang Cheng is an Associate Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of
Environmental Geochemistry, Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of
Sciences, China. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Geology at the China
University of Geosciences, Wuhan in 2003, and earned his Master’s degree and
Ph.D. in Environmental Geochemistry at the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese
Academy of Sciences in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He was a Visiting Scholar
at the Bangor University (2013–2014, 2018). His research interests include Research
on Soil Carbon and Nitrogen Cycle and its Excitation Effect; Research and
development of soil heavy metal treatment and remediation technology; Research
on heavy metal and pesticide residue contamination of crops and food safety.;
and Carbon, oxygen, strontium isotope paleoclimate inversion.
