Prof. Yongwoo Jang received a Ph.D. degree in physiology from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2012. After that, he continued his research as a Research Fellow with the Mclean Hospital of Harvard Medical School for four years. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea. His current research interests include the development of bio-hybrid intelligent artificial muscles for soft robotics, and biological applications of carbon nanotube yarn to human health monitoring and treatment systems.
