Wei Cheng received a bachelor's degree from Dalian Jiaotong University in 1997, a master’s degree in environment and science from the same university in 2004, and a Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in 2012. She is a professor at the Institute of Cancer Stem Cell, Dalian Medical University. Her research interests mainly focus on ion channels, cell biology, and electrophysiology.
