Hai Zhu is currently a Ph.D. student in Ocean Technology and
Engineering at Zhejiang University, working under the mentorship of Professor
Jiawang Chen and Professor Yuan Lin. He received a
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation
from China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2017 and a Master of Engineering in
Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2020. He
won The National Scholarship for Doctoral Students of China in 2021 and the Best
Paper of Journal of Zhejiang University—SCIENCE A in January 2023. His research
focuses on the following aspects of ocean engineering: pipeline engineering,
gas hydrates, soft robotic fish, offshore geotechnical engineering, and
rheology, with a special focus on the external inspection of subsea pipelines.
Jiawang Chen is currently a professor at Donghai Laboratory. He graduated from Jilin
University in 2007, majoring in geological engineering, and received a
doctorate in engineering. He worked at the Mechanical Engineering Postdoctoral
Mobile Station of the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Transmission and Control of
Zhejiang University from 2007 to 2009, majoring in mechanical and electrical
engineering. He was assistant to the president of Zhejiang Ocean Development
Research Institute from 2010 to 2011. He is a senior member of the Chinese
Mechanical Engineering Society and a member of MTS, IEEE, and ISOPE.
Yuan Lin is currently an associate professor at the School
of Oceanography of Zhejiang University. He graduated from the South China
University of Technology. He received his PhD from the Institute of Mechanical
and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang University. He was a Research Fellow in
the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore, and
the Keppel–NUS Joint Laboratory. He was a lecturer at the Ocean College of
Zhejiang University. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Rheology, Physics of
Fluids, Ocean Engineering, Journal of non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, and other
journals. His research directions include deep-sea exploration technology,
fluid mechanics, etc.
Jin Guo is currently working as a Doctor
of Engineering at the Zhejiang University, Department of Ocean Science and
Engineering. His skills and expertise include modeling and simulation, offshore
engineering, computational fluid dynamics, and CFD Simulation. His research
keywords and expertise include sampling equipment, hydrodynamic analysis, and
pressure retaining.
Yongqiang Ge received a B.S. degree from Ocean College,
Zhejiang University, Zhoushan, China, in 2019, where he is currently pursuing a
Ph.D. degree in marine technology and engineering. He has authored more than
ten articles in the research field of seafloor subsidence monitoring and
landslide monitoring. He holds three invention patents. His research mainly
focuses on the research of seafloor deformation monitoring technology and
equipment.
