Hui Sun is a Professor at the Beijing Technology and Business University. He obtained his PhD from the Jilin University in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. From 2007 to 2008, he worked at North Carolina State University and the University of Florida as a postdoctoral fellow. He is a member of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Plastic Products. His research interests include biomass materials, polymer surface modification, and engineering plastics.
Yunxuan Weng is currently the dean of the School of Chemistry and Materials Engineering at Beijing Technology and Business University. He is also the Secretary-General of the Degradable Plastics Committee of the China Plastic Association, the Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of Bio-based Materials and Degradable Products, and the Examiner of the National Licence for Food-Related Products. He drafted several national standards for food direct-contact packaging materials, such as fresh-keeping film, plastic shopping bags, roll bags, disposable tableware, etc., as well as the industrial standards for postal packaging tape. His research interests include cellulose, polymers, and plastic.
