Dr. Katrina Chau has been a Staff Specialist Nephrologist at Blacktown Hospital since 2016. She is also the Clinical Sub-Dean at the Western Sydney University School of Medicine and a member of multiple national and international nephrology societies. She completed her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians in Nephrology in 2013 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in the prevention of Preeclampsia in 2018.
Dr. Natasha M. Rogers received her medical degree from the University of Adelaide. She completed her Internal Medicine training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and then trained in Nephrology at the Royal Darwin and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. She received her Ph.D. in 2011 through the University of Adelaide in the Transplant Immunology Laboratory in the Basil Hetzel Institute. Dr. Rogers undertook a postdoctoral fellowship (2011–2015) at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, at the Starzl Transplant Institute under Dr. Angus Thomson. In 2015, she was appointed as Faculty in the Renal-Electrolyte Division at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2016, Dr. Rogers moved back to Australia to establish her laboratory at the Westmead Institute for Medica Research and is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Transplant and Renal Research. She is also the Head of Transplantation at Westmead Hospital Renal Division, a Professor in Nephrology and Transplantation Medicine at the University of Sydney, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Starzl Transplant Institute.
Sohel M. Julovi (MBBS, Ph.D.) is a Senior Research Scientist in the Centre for Transplant and Renal Research at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research. Dr. Julovi leads research programs to elucidate the connection between chronic kidney disease and both cardiovascular disease and osteoarthritis. His research is focused on combating chronic diseases. Dr. Julovi has received several national and international research awards, fellowships, and grants, including the JSPS Fellowship and NHMRC MRFF grants for research support.
