Dr. Peter A. Kara is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Networked Systems and Services, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Additionally, he is a Visiting Fellow at Kingston University. Before that, he served as an Assistant Lecturer from 2022 to 2023, and an Assistant Research Fellow from 2020 to 2022. He graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in 2011, and obtained his M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in 2013. In 2020, he received his Ph.D. in Informatics Sciences at the Kingston University. His research interests include multimedia streaming, quality assessment of services, light fields, and cognitive bias.
