Dr. Naiyana Tikky Wattanapenpaiboon has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Monash University in Australia. She has been a Research Fellow at Monash University, first in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (1996–1999), and then in the Monash Asia Initiative, formerly the Monash Asia Institute (2000–present). She has worked closely with Professor Emeritus Mark L. Wahlqvist (the former President of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences) and Professor Emerita Marika Vicziany (the former Director of the Monash Asia Institute). She has published 15 book chapters and over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of health sciences and nutrition. She is currently working with Professor Wahlqvist to produce revised editions of significant collections such as the Food and Nutrition: Sustainable food and health systems (https://doi.org/10.4324/9781003115656).
