Prof. Carlo Cravero is a professor of fluid machines and computational fluid dynamics at the University of Genoa. He earned, from the University of Genoa, a degree in mechanical engineering (1991) and a Ph.D. in fluid machinery engineering (1995). He worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge (1995–1996) and a researcher at the University of Paris VI (1996–1997). In 1999, he moved to the University of Genoa and was promoted to associate professor in 2005. His research topics mainly include fluid mechanics, aerospace, CFD simulation, gas turbines, and computational fluid dynamics.
Dr. Davide Marsano is a researcher at the University of Genoa. He earned, from the University of Genoa, a master's degree in mechanical engineering—energy and aeronautics (2015) and a Ph.D. in engineering of machines and systems for energy, environment, and transports (2019). He started post-doc at the Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management, and Transport Engineering (DIME) at the University of Genoa in 2018. His research topics mainly include turbomachinery simulation methods (CFD), radial turbomachinery, aerodynamics, and industrial thermo-fluid dynamics.
