Daniel Icaza-Álvarez received his PhD from the University of León in Spain in 2023, he has been an
Electrical Engineer from the Salesiana Polytechnic University since 2005. He also has two master’s degrees: a master's in Electricity with a mention in Electrical Power Systems and a master's in Telecommunications Management. He is currently a full-time researcher, he has an additional responsibility as a Coordinator of the Renewable Energy and Real-Time Simulation laboratories at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Ecuador. His skills and expertise include Electrical Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Technologies and MATLAB Simulation.
