Dr. Neelum Aziz Yousafzai currently works at the Case Western Reserve University. She completed her Ph.D. in Oncology from Zhejiang University, China. Her expertise in cancer diagnosis and therapy development approaches to improving human health. Her open and contextual evaluation model based on responsive constructivists creates new pathways for improving healthcare. She has great experience in research, clinical, teaching, and administration, both in hospital and education institutions. She has published several research articles in well-known journals and delivered talks on national and international forum. Her areas of interest are oncology, molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, pathology, and genetics.
Wei Wang is a cancer biologist. He currently is a research associate at The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH). He was a postdoctoral fellow in Cancer Biology at Case Western Reserve University from 2019 to 2023. He obtained a Master of Science - MS in Phytochemistry at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2009 to 2012, a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from 2014 to 2015 at Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. in Pharmacology from 2012 to 2016 at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has over 10 years of experience in cancer biology, particularly in in vivo research.
Khalid SOSSEY-ALAOUI, Ph.D., is a Faculty Research Staff at MetroHealth Medical Center, an associate professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, School of Medicine and a Member of the Molecular Oncology Program, Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Sossey-Alaoui's research interests are in the area of studies of breast cancer, with special emphasis on the Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) subtype. His lab is also interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms that drive therapy resistance and the cancer stem cell phenotype, as well as cancer disparities.
