Yang Wang obtained an MSc and Ph.D. in Oil & Gas Development Engineering from the China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2015 and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2019, respectively. He completed one-year joint Ph.D. studies in Oil & Gas Development Engineering at Penn State University (2017-2018). He continued postdoctoral training at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing). In 2022, he was promoted to Assistant Professor at the same university. He is now an Associate Professor.
Dr. Huaping Xiao is an associate professor at the
College of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering, China University of
Petroleum-Beijing, China. He completed his MS at Tsinghua University in 2011
and his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University, USA in 2014. His research interests
include soft robotics, tribology, and advanced equipment.
Shuhai Liu received his
Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing,
China, in 2009. He has been with the College of Mechanical and Transportation
Engineering, China University of Petroleum-Beijing, since 2009. He is currently
a Professor and the Assistant Dean of the College of Mechanical and
Transportation Engineering. His research interests include tribology, petroleum
equipment, and petroleum special robots.
Hongwu Zhu is a Professor at the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, China University of Petroleum-Beijing. He obtained an MSc and completed his PhD studies at the China University of Petroleum- Beijing (China). He worked at the Geological Survey Department of Xinjiang Petroleum Bureau as a mechanical engineer from 1984-1991. He visited Louisiana State University as a Senior Visiting Scholar in 2000. His teaching disciplines include mechanical engineering and thermal energy engineering, and his interests include fluid and power machinery work theory, multi-phase flow and heat transfer, and design theory and methodology of offshore oil equipment.
