Dr. Arianna Dal Buono is Gastroenterologist at the IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital. She completed her PhD studies at the Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza Facoltà di Medicina e Psicologia. Before her current employment, she successfully carried out her Residency in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at Humanitas University, enhancing clinical competence and knowledge, endoscopic and ultrasound skills, and research aptitude. Beyond the routine medical care of patients, she participates as a sub-investigator, together with her colleagues, in the ongoing clinical trials of the institution, as well as in the academic engagement with students and residents pursuing their training at the IBD Center. Dr. Dal Buono belongs to a multidisciplinary team, highly specialized in inflammatory bowel diseases, that involves colorectal surgeons, radiologists, dermatologists, and rheumatologists for the management of the most complex cases.
Dr. Alberto Puccini is a Medical Oncologist at Humanitas Research Hospital, Milan, Italy. He attended a Post Doctorate program at the Division of Medical Oncology, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, CA, USA. Prof. Armando Santoro holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina, which he obtained in 1974. Additionally, he obtained a Certificat de Cancerologie Clinique et Experimentale from the University of Paris in 1976. Following that, in 1977, he specialized in the Hematology Clinic and Laboratory at the University of Rome. In 1980, he obtained a diploma of Specialization in Oncology at the University of Genoa. From 1997 to 1998, he was an Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialization in Hematology at the University of Milan. Since 2004, he has been a Professor at the School of Specialization in Oncology at the University of Milan.
Dr. Alessandro Repici is Full Professor at Humanitas University. He completed his PhD studies in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Messina in 1990. The following year, he was awarded a scholarship for the Department of Gastroenterology of Molinette Hospital in Turin, where he began his practice in digestive endoscopy. He is now a member of the Publication Committee of the World Gastroenterology Association, the Editorial Board of “Digestive and Liver Diseases”, “Frontiers of Oncology” and “Techniques of Coloproctology”, and he is the Associate Editor of “Gastrointestinal Endoscopy”. As an Official Reviewer for medical projects supported by the European Community, he is also the founder of webendoscopy.com and organizer of one of the largest European Live Endoscopy Courses, IMAGE. His research interests mainly include submucosal injection, endoscopic resection, EMR, and ESD.
Professor Cesare Hassan is an Associate Professor at the Digestive Endoscopy Unit, Nuovo Regina Margherita Hospital. He completed his PhD studies in Experimental Digestive Endoscopy in 2006. He became a specialist in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at Sapienza University in Rome in 1998. His clinical practice and research turned mainly to the development of new approaches for colorectal cancer screening, mainly focusing on clinical validation, cost effectiveness, and decision making, as well as the prevention of upper GI cancer, including endoscopic and medical treatments of pre-malignant gastric conditions and Barrett esophagus.
