Dr. Stanislav Kotlyarov works in the Department of Nursing at Ryazan State Medical University in Ryazan, Russia. He was educated as a medical doctor in 2007 and received his Ph.D. in 2011. He is the Guest Editor of the Special Issue “Metabolic Disorders in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Atherosclerosis” at MDPI. His research interests mainly focus on COPD; respiratory diseases; atherosclerosis; lipid metabolism, lipid transport, and inflammation; and the innate immune system. He has over 30 publications in various journals with an h-index of 10 (Scopus and Web of Science, January 2024). Has accreditation as a general practitioner and family medicine physician.
