Prof. Yuta Nishina works as a Professor at the Research Core for Interdisciplinary Sciences, Okayama University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Okayama
University in 2006, received a Master’s degree in 2007, and earned a Ph.D. in 2010
from the Graduate School of Okayama University. His research interests mainly focus
on catalysis, nanocarbon, graphene, organic chemistry, and materials chemistry.
His scientific output includes 179 publications, corresponding to 4086
citations (h-index 31) (Scopus, 2 January 2024).
Dr. Mohammed Zahedul Islam Nizami is a Postdoctoral Fellow
at the Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, MA, USA. He was a Postdoctoral Research
Fellow at the University of Hong Kong and Okayama University. He holds a Ph.D.
in Dental Sciences from Okayama University, a Graduate Diploma in Clinical
Science in Maxillofacial Prosthetics (GDCSc) from Mahidol University, and a
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dhaka University. He is a dentist and his
research interest focuses on cariology. He is attempting to develop new
nano-biomaterials and nanocomposites for caries prevention. He is also
interested in translating his findings into clinical settings.
