Tadeusz Pietrucha is a professor and head of the Medical Biotechnology Department at the Medical University of Łódź. He is a member of the National Development Council under the President of the Republic of Poland and a creator and president of Biotechconsulting Sp. zoo. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Lodz and a doctorate from Uniwersytet Medyczny. His research interests include the treatment of Preeclampsia and its Molecular Inspirations.

Agata Sakowicz is an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Medical University of Lodz, and is also an expert in the field of medical diagnostics. She worked as a laboratory diagnostician in the laboratory of Bonifraters Hospital in Lodz and then she started her duty at the Medical University of Lodz. She earned a Ph.D. in Medical Biology from the Medical University of Lodz. In 2010 she became a specialist in the field of medical laboratory diagnostics and then, in 2015, she became an expert in laboratory medical genetics. Moreover, in 2013 she completed a post-graduate study in “Research project management and commercialization of research results”. She is also the head of scientific grants realized at the Medical University of Lodz. She is a member of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnostics and the Polish Society of Human Genetics.
