Agata Sakowicz is an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical
Biotechnology, Medical University of Lodz, and is also an expert in the field
of medical diagnostics. She worked as a laboratory diagnostician in the
laboratory of Bonifraters Hospital in Lodz and then she started her duty at the
Medical University of Lodz. She earned a Ph.D. in Medical Biology from the
Medical University of Lodz. In 2010 she became a specialist in the field of
medical laboratory diagnostics and then, in 2015, she became an expert in
laboratory medical genetics. Moreover, in 2013 she completed a post-graduate
study in “Research project management and commercialization of research
results”. She is also the head of scientific grants realized at the Medical
University of Lodz. She is a member of the Polish Society of Laboratory
Diagnostics and the Polish Society of Human Genetics.
