Dana Carmen Zaha is a University Professor at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, a Specialist in the Clinical Laboratory at Oradea Emergency County Hospital, and a Chief of the Department of Preclinical Disciplines, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Oradea. She received her MD and Ph.D. at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “V. Babes”, Timisoara, and completed her Postgraduate Course at UMF Timisoara and IBI Matei Bals. She is also a member of the Association of Medical Laboratories Romania, the Romanian Society of Physiological Sciences, the Romanian Society of Pathophysiology, the Medical College Bihor, and the Balkan Medical Union.
Claudia Maria Jurca is Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Oradea, and the Chief of the Regional Center of Medical Genetics and Coordinator of the National Program in Genetics Disorders at "Dr Gavril Curteanu" Municipal Hospital. She received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the University of Oradea. She is also a member of the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics, the European Society of Human Genetics, and the Romanian Society of Morphology and Embryology.
Emilia Severin has been a Professor of Human Genetics with the "Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Bucharest, Romania) for more than 30 years, enjoying an excellent reputation in the academic environment for her contribution to medical genetics education for students in Dentistry. As a senior member of RONARD, she is the co-author of the Romanian National Plan for Rare Diseases as a part of the Romanian National Health Strategy. As a member of EUCERD, she was involved in the preparation of the Recommendation for cross-border genetic testing of rare diseases in the EU. She is also a member of prestigious scientific societies and professional organizations such as the American Society of Human Genetics and the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
