Prof. Dr. Irene Paterniti currently works at the Department of Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences, University of Messina, Messina, Italy. She was awarded the Young Scientist Award at the ASPET annual meeting at Experimental Biology 2014 in San Diego and the GALENO AWARD 2017 for clinical and experimental research in Italy. She was a member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF), Italian Society of Toxicology, American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and Neuroscience Society.
