She was awarded the Young Scientist Award at the ASPET annual meeting at Experimental Biology 2014 in San Diego and the GALENO AWARD 2017 for clinical and experimental research in Italy. She was a member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF), Italian Society of Toxicology, American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and Neuroscience Society.
Prof. Dr. Emanuela Esposito works at the Department of Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences, University of Messina in Messina, Italy. She is the Guest Editor of the Special Issues “Novel Targeted Therapies in Brain Tumors”, “Immune-Inflammatory and Oxidative Stress Signaling Pathways Involved in Human Disorders”, and “Novel Targeted Therapies in Brain Tumors” in MDPI.
