Professor Jing-Ning Zhu received his BSc from Nanjing Normal University in 2001 and his PhD from Nanjing University in 2006. He is currently a professor of neurobiology and vice dean of the School of Life Sciences. His major research interests are the neural mechanisms underlying central motor control, motor diseases, and somatic–nonsomatic integration. He is also the associate editor of The Cerebellum, reviewing editor of The Journal of Physiology, senior editor of Acta Physiologica Sinica, editor of Neuroscience Bulletin, and editor of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity—Integrative, as well as a standing council member of the Chinese Association of Physiological Sciences and Chinese Neuroscience Society, the president of the Jiangsu Provincial Society for Physiological Sciences, and an International Delegate of Society for Research on the Cerebellum and Ataxias (SRCA).
