Dr. Francesca Gioia Klinger works at the Departmental
Faculty, Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences in Rome,
Italy. Dr. Klinger is the Editorial Board Member of the journal Life in MDPI. Dr.
Klinger’s research interests mainly focus on reproductive and developmental
biology; female fertility; and ovarian function. Dr. Klinger’s scientific
output includes 62 publications in various journals with an h-index of 24
(Scopus, January 2024).
Prof. Patrizio Bollero is a dietitian and nutritionist Bbologist specializing in human nutrition sciences. He is an expert in the development of diet therapy for the prevention and treatment of chronic-degenerative non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, intestinal dysbiosis, etc., and in the study of body composition. He received his Ph.D. from the Tor Vergata University Medical School in 2001 and has been an associate professor and Dean of Stomatology at Tor Vergata University, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry since 2009, and a Director for the Hospital’s Dental Day Surgery Unit and diagnosis, hygiene and oral prevention for vulnerable patients of the Tor Vergata Policlinic of Rome since 2009.
Prof. Antonino De Lorenzo is a specialist in
gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy, a full professor of human nutrition
and the Director of the School of Specialization in Food Science at the
University of Roma “Tor Vergata”, where he is also the Director of Ph.D
Research in “Physiology of Districts Corporeal” and the director of the Unit
“Service of Clinical Nutrition, and Parenteral Therapy Anorexia Nervosa”. He
received his Bachelor of medicine and surgery from the University of Rome “La
Sapienza” in 1978, and was awarded Specialist Cum Laude in Gastroenterology and
Digestive Endoscopy from Policlinico “A. Gemelli”, Rome, in 1990. During his
long research and studies on body composition, he discovered the “Normal Weight
Obese Syndrome”. He holds positions of scientific responsibility for national
and international research projects and is a member of several scientific
societies. He is the author of over 200 articles in international journals with
“peer revision” in PubMed, 54 chapters of national and international treaties and
150 articles in journals, and conference proceedings in Italy and abroad. He is
also the President of the National Institute for the Mediterranean diet and the
Nutrigenomics (INDi.M).
Prof. Annalisa Noce is an associate professor in Nephrology
at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". She completed her Ph.D. in
the Physiology of Bodily Districts cum laude at the University of Rome
"Tor Vergata" in 2014. She is the Director of the School of
Specialization in Nephrology at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
Her top areas of expertise are: chronic kidney disease, arterial hypertension,
metabolic acidosis, uremic sarcopenia, low-protein diets, oxidative stress, and
kidney transplants. Her scientific output includes 106 publications in various journals
with an h-index of 29 (Scopus, January 2024).
