Previously, she worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate on a project related to liposomal drug and gene delivery for in vivo dendritic cell-targeted cancer therapy at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata, India, after completing her PhD in “Multidimensional Signatures of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition Plasticity” from School of Medical Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. She also worked on brain tumor epidemiology at IPGMER, Kolkata, India.

UDAI P SINGH is an internationally recognized mucosal immunologist working in the area of inflammation for the last 20 years. His primary research interest includes the area of cellular and mucosal immunology, inflammation, obesity, chemokines, immunotherapy, and complementary and alternative medicine. He has authored 127 scientific communications, including 6 patent applications and about 76 invited lectures. His research contributions span multiple disciplines including obesity, Interstitial Cystitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Alternative Medicine. His long-term career goal is to understand how alternative medicine and chemokine mediate inflammation and obesity in general.
