Dr. Giovanni Luca Cipriano currently works as a health researcher at the Laboratory of Neurobiology, IRCCS Centro Neurolesi "Bonino-Pulejo", Via Provinciale Palermo, Strada Statale 113, Contrada Casazza, Messina, Italy. He has acquired specific skills in cell cultures of neuronal lines and the administration of phytocompounds to understand their role in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases. He is continuing to acquire skills in the analysis of data using the technique known as next-generation sequencing in the context of the transcriptome of neuronal cell lines. His research interests are experimental neurobiology and molecular biology. His research interests focused on cell culture, biomedical science, western blot analysis, and SDS-PAGE.
Dr. Giovanni Schepici currently works as a healthcare research collaborator at the IRCCS Centro Neurolesi "Bonino-Pulejo", Via Provinciale Palermo, Contrada Casazza, Messina, Italy. He got a certificate of participation in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in 2021. He earned a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Messina in 2018. His research interests are experimental neurobiology and molecular biology. His research interests include autism spectrum disorder, miRNA, experimental models, traumatic brain injury, stem cells, inflammation, clinical studies, stem cell transplantation, salivary biomarkers, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, caffeine, neuroprotective effects, and clinical trials.
Dr. Emanuela Mazzon currently works in Neuroscience and Rehabilitation at the IRCCS Centro Neurolesi “Bonino-Pulejo”, Via Provinciale Palermo, Contrada Casazza, Messina, Italy. Dr. Mazzon's international experience includes various programs, contributions, and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Dr. Mazzon’s research mainly focused on: 1. Molecular mechanisms of physiological and pharmacological control of inflammation and cancer; 2. cellular and molecular mechanisms of recovery of rats from experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. Dr. Mazzon’s research interests focused on vitamin E, Alzheimer’s disease, tocopherol, and tocotrienol.
Dr. Ivan Anchesi currently works as a healthcare researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Neurology, IRCCS Centro Neurolesi "Bonino-Pulejo", Via Provinciale Palermo, Contrada Casazza, Messina, Italy. From 25 February 2022 to 22 August 2023, he was a research fellow for biotechnology graduates in the research lines of current neuroimmunology, experimental neurology, and molecular biology approved by the Ministry of Health. He got a Master's Degree in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2021. He is passionate about the molecular world, with a strong dedication to scientific research and understanding advanced techniques in molecular biology and biochemistry, and a passion for detailed analysis of the cellular world. He has acquired specialized skills in techniques such as Western Blot, nucleic acid and protein extraction, PCR, transcriptomic analysis, ELISA, and data analysis, contributing to significant scientific discoveries. His research interests are experimental neurobiology and molecular biology.
