Dr. Petra Majerova works at the Institute of Neuroimmunology, Slovak Academy of Science, Bratislava, Slovakia. She is a Senior Research Scientist at Proteomics and Metabolomics research group. Her research interests include blood–brain barrier, phage display, shuttle peptides, Triticum aestivum l, Food Quality, cereal allergens, discovery proteomics, Gluten, and Celiac disease.
Assoc. prof. Juraj Piestansky is an Associate Professor at the Department of Galenic Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University in Bratislava, Bratislava, Slovakia. His research interests include biopharmaceuticals, metabolomic markers, capillary electrophoresis, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
Dominika Olesova is a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Neuroimmunology, Slovak Academy of Sciences. She received her Master’s degree in Pharmacy from Comenius University in 2017 and completed her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in 2021. Her research mainly focuses on Lipidomics, Metabolomics, Applied Statistics, and Computational Biology.
Dr. Andrej Kovac has been working at the Institute of Neuroimmunology, Slovak Academy of Sciences in the Slovak Republic since 2004. He is currently the Head of the Proteomics and Metabolomics research group. In addition to this, he was a Fellow at the University of Washington Seattle from December 2010 to December 2011. His primary area of research is focused on neurobiology, specifically on neurodegenerative diseases, neurodegeneration, neuroscience, neurological diseases, brain diseases, neurobiology, and brain physiology. He is also involved in research related to cell culture and immunohistochemistry in the context of cellular neuroscience.
