Dr. Thomas Müller is a senior consultant in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the Dept. of Internal Medicine II of the St. Josefs Hospital Wiesbaden. He graduated from Philipps-Universität Marburg in 1994. He works on ultrasound education, especially in the field of US-guided interventions, gray-scale and color Doppler, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and recently, on infection prevention in ultrasound.
Prof. Dr. Barbara Braden trained at the University Hospital in Frankfurt/Main in Germany where she worked as clinical lead of the Endoscopy Unit and the Ultrasound Unit. She lectures as a professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Frankfurt. She developed 13C-breath tests using stable isotope techniques for testing various gastrointestinal functions, such as gastric emptying, exocrine pancreatic function, liver function, and Helicobacter pylori infection. From 2008 - 2023, she has worked as a consultant gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist at the OUH FH Trust. Her research interests include therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and upper gastrointestinal and biliopancreatic diseases.
