Khaled Trabelsi completed a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree
in Sport Sciences at the High Institute of Sport and Physical Education of
Sfax, University of Sfax, Tunisia, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. They obtained their PhD
degree with a specialty in exercise physiology in 2016 from the
Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte, University of Carthage, Tunisia. Currently, he
has been an assistant professor since 2012 at the Higher Institute of Sport and
Physical Education of Sfax. Over the last 10 years, he published more than
100 articles in indexed journals in the fields of nutrition, sleep, and sports
sciences.
Lukasz Szarpak is a Vice-Rector for research and cooperation
at the Maria Sklodowska-Curie Medical Academy, Warsaw, Poland; President of the
Polish Society of Disaster Medicine; and the author of over 600 scientific
publications. He also works in the Department of Cardiosurgery and
Transplantology, Cardinal Wyszynski National Institute of Cardiology, Warsaw.
He holds a PhD in Rescue Medicine (Medical University of Warsaw) and a Master’s
Degree in Emergency Medicine (Medical University of Lodz). He also holds
postgraduate studies in national security, organization and management in
healthcare, and crisis management. He is the author of numerous book chapters,
He is involved in several international research projects concerning the
quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and efficacy of intubation and is a
Reviewer and Editorial Board Member for many journals. He has 442 publications
with 3476 citations and an h-index of 28 (Scopus, 30 November 2023).
Carlo Trompetto is the head of the specialization school in
Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Genova. He is also
the head of the Neurorehabilitation Clinic of the San Martino Hospital in
Genova. He received his MD degree (with honors) at the University of Genova in
1992. In 1996, he obtained his neurology specialization in Genova. From 1996 to
1997, he received extra training as a neurophysiologist during fellowships at
The Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London, UK (Professor John Rothwell).
In 2000, he received a PhD degree in neurophysiology and neuropharmacology
from the University of Genoa. In 2014, he obtained his specialization in
physical and rehabilitation medicine at the University of Pisa. He is mainly
interested in the mechanisms mediating function recovery in patients with
stroke and multiple sclerosis and the pathophysiology and treatment of
spasticity and dystonia. He has 136 publications with 3146 citations and an
h-index of 30 (Scopus, 1 December 2023).
