Renan Martins Gomes Prado is a Hospitalist in Brazil. He graduated from the State University of Ceara Medical School. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Fortaleza. He serves as a voluntary remote researcher at the University of California, San Diego, focusing on nephrology. Additionally, he is a former research member in the Renal Transplantation Division at the General Hospital of Fortaleza, emphasizing graft survival and renal pathology. His specialty interests include renal diseases, pulmonary conditions, and internal medicine. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Hospital Medicine.
Joseph Cicenia is a Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic. He
graduated from Seton Hall University in 1990 and undertook medical education at
UMDNJ—New Jersey Medical School in 1994. He completed his residency at
Christiana Care in 1997. He received a fellowship from Pulmonary Critical Care, St. Vincent’s
Hospital in 2000. He served as a Physician at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical
Centers from July 1998 to July 2011. His specialty interests include lung
cancer, lung nodules, advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, COPD, emphysema, lung
infections, asthma, bronchitis, cough, histoplasmosis, and pulmonary disease.
Francisco Aécio Almeida is currently working at Cleveland
Clinic. He is certified in Internal Medicine—Critical Care Medicine, Internal
Medicine—Pulmonary Disease. He undertook medical education at the Federal
University of Ceara School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency at
Walter Cantidio University Hospital Federal University of Ceara in 1999 and his
residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 2003. He received a Fellowship from
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2006. He completed a course at the Graduate
School at Thomas Jefferson University in 2008 and received a fellowship from the
University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2010. His specialty
interests include benign and malignant central airway diseases, carcinoid
syndrome, endobronchial manifestations of systemic diseases, lung abscess, lung
cancer, lung nodules, pleural effusion, tracheoesophageal fistula, and
tracheomalacia. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American
College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Association of
Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, World Association for Bronchology,
and Association of Interventional Pulmonology Program Directors.
