Lu Wang is a research associate at the University of British Columbia. Lu Wang received an MD from the Capital Medical University (1991) and a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia (1997). Lu Wang was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia and University of Manitoba. Lu Wang worked as a senior research associate between 2003 and 2008 and an assistant professor between 2008 and 2011 at the Duke University Medical Center.

Chun Y. Seow is a professor at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. His laboratory is located at the UBC Centre for Heart Lung Innovation (formerly known as the James Hogg Research Centre). He received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Physiology from the University of Manitoba. He received his post-doctoral training in muscle mechanics at the University of Chicago. In 1996 he was recruited to UBC as a CIHR New Investigator (1996–2001) and CIHR/BC Lung Investigator (2001–2006). His research projects have been continuously funded by CIHR since 1996 without interruption. His research has also been supported by NSERC for the last 15 years. He is a member of the American Physiological Society, the Biophysical Society, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and a Fellow of the American Thoracic Society.
