Dr. Lyudmila F. Gulyaeva is currently Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Carcinogenesis of the Federal Research Center “Fundamental and Translational Medicine”. She graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1977 as a biologist. Since 1997, she has been Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences of Novosibirsk State University; Since 2000, she has been Professor of the Medical Department of Novosibirsk State University. She lectured on "Ecological Biochemistry" and “Molecular Mechanisms in Toxicology”. Since 1990, she has been a supervisor of 55 students of the Novosibirsk State University (Department of Natural Sciences, Chair of Molecular Biology) and a supervisor of 11 Ph.D. theses of graduate students, presented in the period 2000–2018. Her research interests include Drug Metabolism, Cytochrome P450, Regulation of Gene Expression, Carcinogenesis, Signal Transduction, Nuclear Receptors, Human Estrogen-Related Cancer, Genetic Polymorphism, Predisposition to Cancer, and microRNAs. The results of her scientific activity were published in more than 190 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Dr. Vladimir O. Pustylnyak is a Professor at the Institute of Medicine and Psychology, Novosibirsk State University. He is Head of the Lab of Molecular Pathology at the institute. He conducts research in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Cancer. He has authored more than 40 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
