Prof. Dr. Hope T Richard is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and the Director of Neuropathology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her PhD and MD from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL, and went on to complete her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training as well as her Neuropathology Fellowship training at VCU. Dr. Richard currently serves as the director of the neuropathology and the director of autopsy pathology, and is an active member of the teaching faculty in the VCU School of Medicine. Her research interests include the pathogenesis and genetics of primary CNS neoplasms.
