Prof. Aušra Mongirdienė has been a Professor (Full) at the department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas, Lithuania, since 2018. She studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Kaunas Academy of Medicine, from 1994–1997. Her research interests include laboratory medicine, oxidative stress, inflammation, cardiology and hemostasis. Her previous project was "Oxidants influence on platelets". Her current project is " Association of blood thrombospondins, oxidative stress endothelial dysfunction and inflammation markers with different degrees of atherosclerosis".
