Hiroshi Hayashi has been a medical doctor at the Department of Hematology/Oncology in the Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center in Japan since 2022. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Keio University in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a Junior Resident at Kameda Medical Center. In January 2019, he served as a Research Scholar at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and from 2019 to 2022, he worked as a Senior Resident at the Department of General Pediatrics in the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Medical Center.

Dr. Atsushi Makimoto is a pediatric oncologist from Japan who works as the deputy manager of laboratory medicine at the Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Tokushima and underwent subspecialty clinical training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX for two years. After returning to Japan, he worked at the National Cancer Center as a principal investigator for various clinical trial projects. Dr. Makimoto’s main research area revolves around developmental therapeutics for pediatric sarcoma, neuroblastoma, and brain tumors.

Yuki Yuza is a Chief Consultant at the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Tokyo Metropolitan Children’s Medical Center in Japan. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Yamagata University in 1993 and his Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Jikei University in 2007. His research mainly focuses on clinical oncology, cancer biology, cancer diagnostics, medical oncology, molecular oncology, cancer immunology, tumor markers, cancer cell biology, and tumor microenvironment.
