Dr Amara Atif is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science within the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. She is an Early Career Researcher (ECR) and specializes in various areas at the intersection of technology and education. Her expertise involves technology-enhanced learning, student engagement, transition, and learning analytics. She also focuses on promoting student feedback literacy to enhance automated feedback processes, explores Pedagogical Conversational Agents, and investigates technology acceptance/adoption in information systems. Amara is a highly motivated educator. Her enthusiasm for teaching is complemented by her passion for writing blog posts about teaching and learning and creating sustainable Open Educational Resources (OER). Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through her receipt of UTS L&T individual and team awards in both 2022 and 2021. She is a member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
