Dr. Xiaochun Wei is an Assistant Researcher in Vegetable Breeding and Molecular Biology at the Institute of Horticulture, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture at the College of Agriculture, Shihezi University, Xinjiang from 2002 to 2006, a Master's degree in Vegetable Science at Xinjiang Shihezi University Agricultural College from 2006 to 2009, and a Ph.D. in Vegetable Science at Vegetable and Flower Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 2009 to 2012. His main research directions include Vegetable resistance breeding and molecular biology research.
Prof. Dr. Fang Wei currently works at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Zhengzhou University. He is mainly engaged in the research on plant polyploidy and reproductive genetics, including genome ploidy and hybridity on plant meiosis, gametophyte formation and development in typical growth conditions using Arabidopsis and Brassica species as plant models.
