Pattaraporn Posoknistakul received her B.Eng. in Nano Technology from the Chulalongkorn University in 2011, her M.Eng. in Pulp and Paper Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in 2013, and a Ph.D. in Biomaterial Sciences from the University of Tokyo in 2017. Her research focus includes lignin degradation and valorization, lignocellulose pretreatment and characterization, and biomass conversion and biorefinery.
Kevin C.-W. Wu is an esteemed professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and also serves as the Director of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Nanomedicine at the National Health Research Institutes. His research expertise encompasses porous materials and metal-organic frameworks with wide-ranging applications in various fields. His research portfolio includes bioenergy conversion electrochromic devices, osmotic power generation devices, plastic waste conversion into single-walled carbon nanotubes, bone tissue regeneration, crab carcinoma treatment, drug delivery, and photothermal therapy, as well as protein separation and purification. Professor Wu's scholarly contributions are substantial, with a total citation count of 21,505 and an impressive H-index of 74, highlighting his outstanding contributions and influence in the field of Materials science.
Dr. Chularat Sakdaronnarong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, Thailand. Her research interests are in the field of bioresources and biorefinery, mainly focused on biomass conversion to biofuels, biochemicals, and bio-based materials. Cellulose and lignin valorization to nanomaterials and phenolic compounds as active ingredients for food and pharmaceutical applications are the focuses of her lab. In addition, the synthesis of cellulose nanocatalysts, nanomaterials, and nanostructured carbon materials for photocatalysis, energy, and biomedical applications is the current focus of her research group.
