Prof. Dr. Hadi Al-Hasani is the Director of the Institute for Clinical Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry and Head of the Research Group Pathochemistry at the German Diabetes Center (DDZ). He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Cologne. His research keywords include fat, diabetes, insulin signaling, skeletal muscle, insulin resistance, and glucose metabolism.
