Dr. Thomas Behnisch is currently Head of Novel Materials and Special Processes at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. He is also the head of the carbon fibers unit. He has published over 25 papers, and has an h-index of 7 (Scopus, 25 December 2023). His research interests are focused on the study of ceramics, composites, ceramic and composite, and material characterization.
Dr. Niels Modler is currently the Chair of
Function-integrative Lightweight Engineering at Technische Universität Dresden.
He is also the Managing Director of the DFG-funded Collaborative Research
Centre SFB 639. He holds a Ph.D. degree from TU Dresden. He has a degree in
electrical engineering, precision engineering, and biomedical technology, from
TU Dresden.
Dr. Robert Böhm has been a professor of lightweight composite engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the Hochschule für Technik Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig since 2020. From 2002 to 2020, he was a senior scientist at the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology at the Technische Universität Dresden. He holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from the Technische Universität Dresden.
