Xiaosen Li is a Chief Scientist of the Natural Gas Hydrate
Center, Deputy Academic Director, and a Researcher at Guangzhou Institute of
Energy, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained a Bachelor's and Master's at
the Inner Mongolia University of Technology, China. He received a Ph.D. at the
Tsinghua University, China. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the
University of Alberta. He was an Associate Researcher at the University of
British Columbia from 2001 to 2005. He was a Teaching Assistant at the Tsinghua
University from 1996 to 1997. He has 379 publications with 12794 citations and
an h-index of 60 (Scopus, 8 December 2023).
Zhaoyang Chen is a Professor at the Guangzhou Institute of
Energy Conversion, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangzhou, China. He graduated
from Yue Yang University, China, in 1994. He received a Master's in Chemical
Engineering and Technology from Central South University, China, in 2003 and a
Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Research Center For
Eco-Environmental Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Science, China, in 2006. He was a
Visiting Scholar at The University of British Columbia, Canada, from 2014 to
2015. He won the First Award of Guangdong Province for Technological Invention
in 2014 and the Excellence Award of the Eleventh Chinese Patent in 2010. He has
196 publications with 5059 citations and an h-index of 39 (Scopus, 7 December
2023).
Yi Wang is a Researcher at the Guangzhou Institute of
Energy, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the University of
Science and Technology of China in 2008. He received a Ph.D. at the Chinese
Academy of Sciences. He was an Assistant Researcher at the Guangzhou Institute of
Energy, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2013 to 2015. He worked at Helmholtz
Geosciences Center GFZ, Germany, as a visiting scholar from 2017 to 2018. He
authorized 27 Chinese national invention patents and 8 American invention
patents. He won the National Science Fund for Outstanding Youth in 2021 and the
second prize of the National Technology Invention Award (ranked 5th) in 2018.
He has published more than 100 SCI papers.
