Dr. György Csikó is an associate professor at the Department
of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest. He
completed his PhD studies in Veterinary Surgeon at the University of Veterinary
Medicine Budapest, and has been awarded the Ministerial Award for First Prize
at the National Student Research Conference (OTDK). He serves as a Member of
the European Association for Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (EAVPT),
the Society of Veterinary Pharmacotherapy and Toxicology, and the Hungarian
Ministry of Agriculture. He has served as a Member and Secretary of the Standing
Committee on Animal Experimentation of the Hungarian Scientific Academy since
2011. His research topics mainly include Pharmacokinetics of medicines,
bioequivalence; In vitro and in vivo metabolism of xenobiotics; Drug-residue
studies; Acute and subacute toxicity studies in laboratory animals; Target
animal tolerance studies; Clinical pharmacology examinations; Antimicrobial
resistance, methods of substitution of antimicrobial drugs.
Dr. Árpád Csaba Bajcsy received his Ph.D. Degree in Veterinary
Sciences from the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest in 1999, and received
his Ph.D. Degree in Veterinary Sciences from the Utrecht University in 2005. He
is now a Professor at the Doctoral School of Veterinary Science, University of
Veterinary Medicine Budapest. His research topics mainly include: Veterinary
Science; Veterinary Diagnostics; Veterinary Preventive Medicine; Veterinary
Infectious Diseases; Dairy; Cattle.
