César González-Lagos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sciences, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Adolfo Ibáñez University. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine (2006) from Universidad Austral de Chile, Chile, and received a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences (2008) and a Ph.D. in Terrestrial Ecology (2012) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. His research aims to understand how organisms deal with rapid human-induced environmental changes and to determine the effect of global change on biodiversity. In recent years, his research has focused on studying the process of urbanization and biological invasions and exploring the role of ecological and life history characteristics of
species in addressing these components of global change.
