Dr. Franziska Elisabeth Blum is a hospitalist at Endeavor Health, formerly NorthShore University HealthSystem. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Munster in 2009. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine. Her research interests are Anesthesiology, Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, LVAD, Thoracic Epidural Anesthesia in Cardiac Surgery, Individualized Anesthesia, Perioperative POCUS, Safety and Quality in Anesthesiology, RNMB, Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Anesthesiology.

He currently serves as the Corporate Co-Director of Critical Care Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Katz attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, anesthesia residency at the University of Chicago, and critical care fellowship at the University of California San Francisco.
Dr. David Bissing is a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicine Specialist in Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, Endeavor Health, formerly NorthShore University HealthSystem, in Evanston, IL. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed residency training at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and fellowship trainings at the Cleveland Clinic and the University of Chicago.
Mohammed Minhaj graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2000. He completed a residency and fellowship in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago. After joining the faculty, he served in various roles including Residency Program Director. In 2011, he enrolled in the Foster School of Business Executive MBA program which he completed in 2013. He returned to the University of Chicago in 2013 where he served in different roles in the anesthesia department and the organization. In 2021 Dr. Minhaj was named the Harris Family Foundation Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem, now Endeavor Health.
Steven Greenberg has been practicing Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at North Shore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois, since 2006. He currently serves as Clinical Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine since 2018. In addition, Dr. Greenberg has recently been appointed to be the Jeffery S. Vender Endowed Anesthesiology Chair of Research and Education, where he has focused his efforts on reshaping the Anesthesiology Research Program at NorthShore and is enhancing perioperative safety research. Dr. Greenberg has given over 80 lectures nationally and internationally, served on 4 editorial boards for anesthesia and medical journals and published over 60 peer reviewed journal articles and has contributed to a variety of book chapters in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine texts.
