Prof. Shaopeng Wang is an associate professor with a joint
appointment in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering (SBHSE)
and the Biodesign Center for Bioelectronics and Biosensors (BCBB). He holds a
BS in biology and an MS in biophysics from Tsinghua University (Beijing,
China). He received a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Miami
(Florida) and did a two-year post-doctoral study in the Department of Physics
at Florida International University. Before joining ASU, Prof. Wang was a
senior research scientist at ICx Nomadics, Inc (Now FLIR). He joined ASU in
2008 as an associate research professor at the Biodesign Center for
Bioelectronics and Biosensors and was promoted to research professor in 2015.
He was appointed as an associate professor with the School of Biological and
Health System Engineering (SBHSE) and the Biodesign Center for Bioelectronics
and Biosensors in 2021.
