Dawn Simonds Tuell is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Pediatrics at
East Tennessee State University. She is also a member of the American Academy
of Pediatrics. She completed her BS studies in Biology at Emory University
(1997), her M.D. studies at East Tennessee State University (2001), and her Masters in Healthcare Leadership at Wake Forest University in 2022. She was
awarded the Dean’s Distinguished Teaching Award in Clinical Sciences.
William Stone is a Professor at East Tennessee State University. He
received his BS in Chemistry (1966) and Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology
(1972) from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and an MS degree from
Marshall University in Physical Organic Chemistry (1968). He has published 109
papers with 2872 citations and an h-index of 31 (Scopus, 15 December 2023). His
research topics mainly include cancer, oxidative stress, antioxidants, lipids,
tocopherols, and tocotrienols.
