SANTIAGO CRIOLLO-C was born in Quito, Ecuador in 1984. He received the B.S. degree in electronics and information networks engineer, from National Polytechnic School in Quito, in 2010 and the M.S. degree in communication networks from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and, He received the Ph. D. degree in computer science at University of Alicante in Alicante, Spain, in 2021, where he has oriented his research to the use of mobile devices as support in higher education. Since 2013, he has been professor of information technology in Universidad de Las Américas in Quito, Ecuador.
Andrea Guerrero-C was born in Quito, Ecuador, in 1985. She received an M.S degree in linguistics applied to the English language from UNIR, in 2022, and B.S.degree in linguistics applied to the English language from Army Polytechnic School, in 2019, and a B.S. degree in visual communication from the Universidad Autónoma de Quito, in 2012. Her research interest includes the use of mobile devices in educational enhancement. She has been a Professor of EFL with Jezreel Christian Academy, Quito, Ecuador.

Agariadne Dwinggo Samala is a professional educator, futurologist, dedicated researcher, and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Indonesia, specializing in Informatics and Computer Engineering Education. He graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Universitas Andalas, Indonesia. In 2015, he completed a Master’s in Technology and Vocational Education from the Faculty of Engineering at UNP. In 2023, he received his Ph.D. from UNP, Indonesia, with a research focus on the convergence of technology and education. He is an external collaborator of the Digital Society Lab at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT), University of Belgrade, Serbia. In addition, he is a member of the International Society for Engineering Pedagogy (IGIP) in Austria. With a deep passion for education, he has conducted impactful research on Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL), Emerging Technologies in Education, Flexible Learning, 21st Century Learning, and Technology, Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Sergio Luján Mora is a senior lecturer of the Department of Software and Computing Systems at the University of Alicante in Spain. He earned his PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Alicante in 2005 with a doctoral thesis about data warehouse modelling with UML. He has been a post-doctoral researcher in the USA and Ecuador. He has developed and implemented web applications since 1997 and has taught how to do it at the university since 1999. His main research topics include web application development, web accessibility and usability, e-learning, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), and Open Educational Resources (OER). He has published several research papers at various conferences (ER, UML, DOLAP) and in high-impact journals (DKE, JCS, JDBM, JIS, JUCS, and UAIS), both nationally and internationally. He has also published several books related to programming and web development, and data structure programming and C++ language. He has taught the courses "Compilers", "Programming and Data Structures", "Internet Programming", "Hypermedia Programming 1", and "XML" at the University of Alicante. He has also taught several courses in web programming, web application development, and web usability and accessibility, both in Spain and in other countries, such as Algeria, Cuba, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Peru, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.
