Magdalena Wójcik-Superczyńska is a specialist in internal diseases and lung diseases. She is a graduate of the Medical University of Lublin. Since 2003, she has been associated with the Department of Pneumonology, Oncology and Allergology in Lublin. She completed specialization training in allergology and, in 2008, obtained her doctorate in medical sciences, defending her thesis titled: "The role of immunological and clinical factors influencing prognosis in non-small cell lung cancer". She is an academic teacher at the Medical University of Lublin. She has been a participant in numerous domestic and foreign congresses and is the author and co-author of various scientific publications. Since 2014, she has presented lectures as part of specialization training organized by the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education (CMKP). In her professional work, she deals with the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sarcoidosis, interstitial lung diseases, infectious diseases of the respiratory system, and lung cancer, among others. She has many years of experience in hospital and outpatient treatment.

Janusz Milanowski has been employed in the Department of Pneumonology, Oncology and Allergology since 1980. He specializes in internal diseases, lung diseases, and allergology. He obtained his doctorate in medical sciences in 1985 and completed scientific internships at the Pasteur Institute in Lille in 1987 and 1990. From 1990 to 1992, he was a scholarship holder at the United States National Academy of Sciences and worked as a senior associate at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in Morgantown, West Virginia. In 1993, he obtained the degree of habilitated doctor and, in 1998, the academic title of professor of medical sciences. He is the author of 222 full papers in scientific journals and author and editor of 4 monographs. Since 1997, he has been the head of the Department and Clinic of Pneumonology, Oncology and Allergology at the Medical University of Lublin. His main scientific interests concern allergic respiratory diseases, the impact of organic dust on the respiratory system, lung cancer, and genetic and molecular research. Currently, he is the chairman of the Lublin branch of the Polish Society of Lung Diseases and is a provincial consultant in the field of lung diseases.
