H.G. Gowtham received his Master's degree in Biotechnology from Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Shimoga in 2009 and received a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Mysore, Mysuru in 2017. He works at the Department of Applied Botany and Biotechnology, University of Mysore. He conducts research in Plant Science with a special emphasis on Agriculture using beneficial soil microbes for the management of biotic and abiotic stresses in plants.
Mahadevamurthy Murali works as a Guest Lecturer at the Department of Studies in Botany at the University of Mysore. He earned his M.Sc. in Botany at the Department of Studies in Botany at the University of Mysore in 2007 and earned his Ph.D. in Botany at the Department of Studies in Botany at the University of Mysore in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a Guest Faculty at the Department of Studies in Botany, Manasagangorti, University of Mysore. He worked as UGC- Post-Doctoral Fellow at the department from 2016 to 2021. He has authored over 75 research publications,10 book cahpters and 1 authored book with a total of 1210 citations and an h-index of 21 (Scopus).
And Kestur Nagaraj Amruthesh received his M.Sc. in Botany from the Department of Botany at the University of Mysore, an M.Phil. in Seed Technology, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Botany & Biotechnology at the University of Mysore. He finished his Postdoctoral studies at the University of North Texas (UNT). He is a Professor and Chairman at the Department of Studies in Botany, University of Mysore. His areas of specialization mainly focus on Applied Plant Pathology; Agricultural Microbiology; Plant Physiology and Biochemistry; Seed Technology; and Host–Pathogen Interaction.
