Radu Gabriel Vătășescu specializes in cardiac
electrophysiology and invasive cardiac procedures. He is an associate professor
of cardiology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in
Bucharest. He also works as a consultant cardiologist and internal medicine
doctor at Floreasca Clinical Emergency Hospital and is the head of the Clinical
and Electrophysiology Lab at the hospital. Since 2018, he has also been the
coordinator for the National Certificate of Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology.
To date, he has performed at least 4470 radiofrequency ablations and 3500
pacemaker and ICD implants. He currently serves as a fellow of the European
Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), as well as the American Heart Association (AHA)
and Heart Rhythm Society (HRS). He also served as the coordinator of the EHRA
Committee of the National Cardiology Societies of Eastern Europe, president of
the Working Group for Cardiac Arrhythmias of the Romanian Society of
Cardiology, and secretary of the Working Group for Cardiac Arrhythmias of the
Romanian Society of Cardiology.
Stefana Maria Moisa is a primary pediatrician and
specialist in pediatric cardioloy and cardiology, doctor of medical sciences.
She received her Ph.D. from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie “Grigore T.
Popa”, Iasi. Her main research interests include ECG reading, heart test
reading, ECG monitoring reading, and arterial tension ECG reading.
Eliza Elena Cinteză is a graduate of the Faculty of
Medicine at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest
(2000). Following preparations in pediatrics and, subsequently, in cardiology
and pediatric cardiology, she reached the current position of associate
professor in pediatrics at the Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children “MS
Curie”, being initially named resident pediatrics coordinator in 2015 and, subsequently,
coordinator of pediatric cardiology in 2021. During her scholarships and study
visits, she received training in pediatrics, cardiology, echocardiography,
interventional cardiology, and congenital heart disease. Her areas of interest
are hypertension in children, interventional cardiology, pulmonary
hypertension, congenital heart disease (European Certificate of
Echocardiography in Congenital Heart Diseases), transesophageal and vascular
ultrasound, and cardiac arrhythmia. She has written 30 book chapters and
co-authored articles published in prestigious journals such as Nature and
The Lancet. She is currently president of the Pediatric Cardiology Commission at
the Ministry of Health and at the National College of Physicians.
