Dr. Jordi Bover received a medical degree from the University of Barcelona, where Dr. Jordi Bover also completed the nephrology specialization and a Ph.D. Dr. Jordi Bover was elected
as a Distinguished Fellow of the European Renal Association—European Dialysis and Transplant Association in 2021. Dr. Jordi Bover’s main fields of interest are the early diagnosis of CKD, CKD as a cardiovascular risk factor, the pathophysiology of secondary hyperparathyroidism, and ‘Chronic Kidney Disease and Mineral and Bone Disorders’ (CKD-MBD), including renal osteodystrophy-osteoporosis in CKD and cardiovascular calcification.
